Returns/Exchanges

Returns:

Buyer is responsible for contacting Hello@shopafroindie.com to initiate the return process.

If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you must contact us to initiate the return of your merchandise within 5 days of the delivery of your product. After 5 days from the point of delivery, no returns/exchanges will be accepted. A restocking fee of 10% will be applied and the difference will be provided on a store credit ONLY. We DO NOT provide refunds, only exchanges or store credit.

All discounted, sale, and clearance items are FINAL sales and cannot be returned or exchanged. This includes the use of coupon codes. All items must be returned in its original condition (unworn, unaltered) with the tags attached. Items that do not meet the criteria will be denied and returned to sender.

Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs of return(s).

 

Policy for Luxé Fedoras: 

Items bought on ShopAfroIndie.com will gladly be EXCHANGED ONLY within 10 days from the receipt of original order. All merchandise must be received back in its original form inclusive of dust bag. Items must not be worn, altered, damaged, free of any stains, odors, pet hairs, or distinct smells including deodorant and perfume.

Items showing signs of wear or use will be returned back to you.

Domestic Exchanges:

  1. Please send an email to Hello@ShopAfroIndie.com with "Exchange” and your order number in the subject line. i.e. Exchange- Order# 0123
  2. In the body of the email notate the name in which your order was placed and the item you would like in exchange for the item being returned.
  3. Unfortunately we do not offer prepaid return labels at this time. You may use a carrier of your choice to ship your items back to us. We do suggest obtaining a tracking number for your shipment as we are not held liable for parcels that are lost en route back to us. Customers are responsible for all shipping costs including return shipping fees.
  4. Upon returning your item, please include the original packing slip.
  5. If there is a price difference between the original purchase and the exchange, you will be contacted when your return has been received.

International Exchanges:

In the event your item is damaged or defected we are deeply sorry! Please contact us within 7 days from the date of delivery and we will gladly process an exchange.
